2018 Estate Chardonnay, One-Acre
Harvested in early October from one of the oldest blocks in our estate vineyard, planted in 2003. This block sits on a gentle north-exposed slope at about 1,000 feet elevation. We ferment and age it in all French Oak, 228 liter barrels for about 18 months, 25% new. Rich and luscious, floral notes and lighter butter notes kept in check by sur-lies aging for the entire barrel aging. 223 cases produced. Unfiltered and unfined.
